LET ME BE A CHILD DEAR PARENTS, LET ME BE A CHILD

— C.Deepalakshmi

Let me for some more time,
feel your warmth mom,
Don't send me to a day care centre mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Listen to the cuckoo's sweet songs,
Don't send me to the singing class mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Take the zigzag steps mom,
Don't send me to the dance class mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
blabber and roll my tongue mom,
Don't send me to a playschool mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Count the stars and flowers mom,
Don't send me to the Abacus class mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Play in the mud and rain mom,
Don't send me to camps and workshops mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Scribble on the wall or paper mom,
Don't send me to the drawing class mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Enjoy with my toys mom,
Don't send me to learn musical instruments mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
Sleep fearlessly in your lap mom,
Don't send me to learn martial arts mom,
Let me be a child mom.

Let me for some more time,
be in your arms mom,
Don't send me away to become a superhuman mom,

Look at me when I talk to u mom,
Take your eyes off your phone mom,
Even with YOU around I feel lonely mom,
I long for your attention mom,
I am tired of listening to the rhetorical Talking Tom.

LET ME ENJOY MY CHILDHOOD MOM.....
