YOU ARE YOUR MIND – II

—M N Raju

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.
—Buddha

Man’s body, Man’s Mind and Man’s soul are the most complicated and complex  mystery in the whole of God’s creation. It may not be an exaggeration if we think that the body, mind and soul are the best of entire God’s creation, may be more wonderful than God himself. He made them more complicated than himself, may be to prove that He is in your body.

The mind is the greatest mystery in the whole of existence, yet it looks to be the simplest. God is also the greatest mystery in His simplest form. You are very near to your mind and body if you try to understand them. God is also very near to you and very simple too, if you love Him.

You love your body
You love your mind
You love your soul
You love your life
You love the creation
You are in love with God.

In my previous article I had mentioned about the general functions of mind and body.

How to clear your mind?
How to watch your mind?
How to train your mind?
How to use your mind?
How to get the best out of your mind?
How to add actions to your thoughts?

The above points are the most complicated ones, yet they are very simple, as simple as ‘taking a cup of tea’, provided you understand your ‘Mind God’ or ‘God Mind’.

As your mind is a mystery,
God is also the biggest mystery.

As your mind is the simplest,
God is also the simplest.

As your mind is so close to you,
God is also available so close to you.

As your thoughts need good actions,
God is true in your good actions.

We are talking about body, mind and soul. Each one of us, including me, know that our body is made up of flesh and blood, arranged or engineered on a frame of bones. It contains a mind in the skull. Above the shoulder there is another mystery which most of us do not know about, that ‘Mystery’ is called ‘Soul’. The ‘Soul’ is more mysterious than the body and the mind.

The greatest men and women in this world, since millions, why millions, since billions of years are trying to ‘know that soul’, but only a few of them could ‘know’. The soul is known as ‘Truth’, ‘Life’, ‘Zindagi’ etc., and finally the greatest men and women called ‘soul’ as ‘God Himself’, the omnipotent, the omnipresent and the omniscient (one who is the supreme power, one who is everywhere and one who knows everything).

Before going further, let us consider certain terminology, (concepts) often complicated and confusing to understand your body, mind and soul.

They are -

  • Body (Physical body and subtle body)
  • Mind (Brain) (Conscious mind and sub-conscious mind)
  • Soul (Atma, Heart, Breath, Pran, life and God in you)
  • Birth
  • Death
  • Philosophy
  • Spirituality
  • Religion
  • Science
  • Hell
  • Heaven
  • Meditation

  • These are some of the main topics of my future articles which will be dealt with one by one in as simple way as possible. I am not a scientist or a spiritual master, but my intention is to make these points comprehensible even to a common man or a woman.

But one point is to be kept in mind that these topics are not separate and they all belong to one whole that is, you or me.

    Your body is energy
    Your mind is energy
    Your soul is energy

If your body, your mind and your soul function together, you will have infinite joy, the total unity is what God is. God is not a person somewhere. God is the experience of the three - Body, Mind and Soul. It is then you will experience the fourth. The fourth is more powerful than the sum total of the above three, that is Joy of life, which is God.
