We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.

The cell is the nano particle of your body that carries various functions of your body very accurately. In you, it is all the magic wonder and wonder of wonders. For example, your digestive system. It is the most complicated and confusive process in any living being.

The tip of your finger also contains innumerable cells. But they are not the same type of cells, and their functions and purposes are also not the same, but they do various multiple works. The nail itself needs many varieties of cells for its growth, for its hardness, for its colour, for its root, for its special skin all around etc. So, it is clear that each small part of the body needs many cells of many more types to perform various functions.

Now these varieties of cells need food to carry out their functions and that too they need variety food since each group of cells have to perform different functions.
• How does a cell get its food? How does a cell get its particular type of food?
• How does a cell select its food? Who is carrying various types of food to various types of cells?
• Who is preparing their food? What is the raw material to be converted as the food for these cells?
The answer, for all the above questions is “Your digestive system”. It is a great miracle. It is the most complicated and critical work that happens in your stomach every second and every part of the second, day and night, throughout life, from womb to tomb.

If you compare the work of the digestive system of one person, it is doubtlessly more complicated and more cumbersome than the work of the Government of India, in all its departments throughout India, carried out by lakhs of employees from the top official to the lowest employee.

Now let us go into more details of the digestive system. Suppose if you eat a Roti, within minutes of time the digestive system starts its functioning. Various chemicals are dropped into food by glands which are functioning in side, for a better result of food processing. The digesting machine does this process for a number of hours, depending upon the food that is taken. Some food items may take four hours of time and some items may even take 20 hours of tissue time.

The duration of time depends on:-
From the time of putting food in the mouth, chewing, chemical reactions, preparation of multiple elements as food for the cells, carrying those elements to various parts of the body, and to push waste out of body, is the magical work of cells.
• Food item (quality and quantity, Vegetarian and Non – Vegetarian etc.,)
• Your nature of work (working in the fields, working in an a/c room-more physical work, less physical work etc)
• The fat content of your food.
• Your body constitution.

If we want to do whatever the digestive system is doing, we would need a big factory to turn food into blood, to sort out all elements and to send those elements that are needed at the required places.
A few, certain particular elements are needed in the brain. Some other elements are needed in the heart. Some more elements are needed in skin and each part of the body needs different elements – the list is endless for trillions of cells – millions of varieties of cells and the food is converted into trillions of varieties of elements and supplied.

But you don’t see its wisdom
The brain may be replaced by modern science. But the digestive system can’t be replaced. No science can convert an ice-cream into the food that is needed to keep a cell alive. The digestive system only can do it. Who is doing all this miraculous work ? The cells are preparing their own food and transport to the place where it is required. That is why if a tablet is taken to cure your headache, it can reach that particular place, where headache is generated and it is cured.
